Ozone layer report

The United Nations released an assessment in which scientists claimed that the Earth’s ozone layer could be restored within four decades.

Researchers presented the results of the assessment at the American Meteorological Society’s 103rd annual meeting to highlight the progress of the Montreal Protocol, a global treaty adopted in September 1987 to phase out the use of chlorofluorocarbons. In addition to confirming the phase-out of nearly 99% of banned ozone-depleting substances like chlorofluorocarbons, the report states that actions taken under the Montreal Protocol “continue to contribute to ozone recovery.”

The discovery of the Antarctic ozone hole was announced in 1985, and researchers found that ozone levels began dropping in the late 1970s. Per the report, if current policies remain in place, the ozone layer is expected to recover to 1980 levels by around 2066 over Antarctica, by 2045 over the Arctic, and by 2040 for the rest of the world.

Australian Open protocols

Players at this year’s Australian Open will reportedly not be required to take Covid-19 tests and can compete if they are infected with the virus.

The announcement comes one year after nine-time tournament champion Novak Djokovic was deported over his vaccination status. Tournament director Craig Tiley confirmed the decision, saying, “It’s a normalized environment for us and, not dissimilar to the cricket, there will potentially be players that will compete with Covid. We just wanted to follow what’s currently in the community.” Australia lifted its border restrictions in regards to declaring or proving vaccination statuses on July 6th of last year.

Last week, Djokovic announced that Australia had overturned his three-year ban and that he would compete in this month’s Adelaide International. He earned his first title in the country since his 2022 deportation at the tournament on Sunday, defeating American Sebastian Korda in a three-setter final.

Damar Hamlin discharged

24-year-old Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin was discharged yesterday from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and transferred to Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute.

Hamlin’s release comes one week after he suffered cardiac arrest on the field during the Bills’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute said in a statement that Hamlin “is currently listed in stable condition and continues to make significant progress in his recovery,” adding that the goal of his transfer is to “get him closer to home for further evaluation, recovery and eventually discharge and rehabilitation.”

Prior to his NFL draft, Hamlin created a community toy drive to purchase toys for children in need during the Covid-19 pandemic. He had set an initial goal of $2.5K. As of this writing, donations have reached over $8.6M.

100% Organic and 20X the Potency

There’s a reason CBD is popping up in just about everything these days. This powerful molecule (when from the right source) addresses everything from brain concerns, depression, anxiety, and even body issues like living in pain, and suffering from auto-immune disorders.

CBD puts your body in balance by supporting the ‘endocannabinoid’ system which is a parallel nervous system responsible for keeping imbalance from ruining your life.

The scientists at Ojai Energetics created a patented nano-bubble technology which organically encapsulates their hemp oil in water bubbles.

This nano-bubble gets absorbed directly into the bloodstream the second it contacts the mucosal membrane in your mouth, bypassing the digestive process entirely and getting introduced directly to the cells. It’s far more effective, with absorption up to 20X higher than competitors.
