Guess it’s time to cut ties with our cousin’s dogsitter’s ex-girlfriend’s brother-in-law, who’s been mooching off our account this whole time!

In Today’s Brief

  • Sudan: Peace deal with Israel

England & EU raise rates

The European Central Bank (ECB) and Bank of England yesterday both raised interest rates by 50 basis points, or 0.50%.

In a press release, the ECB said it “will stay the course in raising interest rates significantly at a steady pace” and that it intends to impose another 0.50% rate hike at its next policy meeting in March. The ECB also added in its statement that it “expects to raise [rates] further” without specifying a timeline. The Bank of England’s rate hike of 50 basis points brings its base rate of interest from 3.5% to 4%, its highest level in 14 years.

The move comes one day after the U.S. Federal Reserve hiked rates by 0.25%, marking the smallest increase since the Fed began imposing rate hikes in June of 2022. Recent data shows that year-over-year inflation levels in the EU are expected to be 8.5% in January compared to 9.2% in December.

ChatGPT breaks growth records

OpenAI’s artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT has reached 100M users in two months, making it the fastest-growing app in history, according to a UBS study.

The study claims that the app had 13M unique visitors per day in January, which is more than double the levels of its unique visitors in December. The report comes just a day after OpenAI launched ChatGPT Plus, a paid version of the chatbot. According to OpenAI, ChatGPT Plus costs $20 per month and offers users access to ChatGPT during peak usage times, faster response times, and priority access to new features.

By comparison, it took TikTok a total of 9 months to reach 100M users, per the UBS study. Instagram took 2.5 years to hit the mark, while Spotify reached the milestone in 4.5 years.

Mafia pizza chef captured

An Italian man with mafia ties who has been on the run since 2006 after being convicted of murder has been caught and discovered to have been working as a pizza chef in France.

Edgardo Greco, 63, was part of the ‘Ndrangheta organized crime syndicate that originated from southern Italy’s Calabria region in the early 1990s. He was convicted in absentia for the murders of brothers Stefano and Giuseppe Bartolomeo, who were of a rival gang and were believed to have been beaten to death in January 1991. Their bodies were never found.

Greco’s capture is the second mafia arrest by Italian authorities in two weeks. On January 16th, authorities arrested Messina Denaro–an alleged boss of the Cosa Nostra Mafia–in Sicily after 30 years of being on the run. Unlike Denaro, who admitted his name when he was approached, Greco denied his identity and was reportedly taken forcibly into custody.

Unlock the power of Vitamin C

You already know that Vitamin C is vital to the human body and plays a key role in supporting a healthy immune system.

Supplementing Vit C daily is a common routine for optimal health.
BUT – if you’re taking common tablets or capsules, you need to learn about the inadequacies of absorption with popular brands. You may have heard about how certain vitamins end up as "expensive urine" because they pass right through your system and you end up peeing them out.

Purality Health uses something called “Micelle Liposomal” technology to deliver nutrients directly into your bloodstream without dramatically losing bio-availability, like what happens with most vitamins.

If you want to support your immune system, energy levels, brain health, cardiovascular system, and more…you MUST take the right form of Vitamin C. Get it here with up to 25% off.

Who says getting a C is average?

To support healthy aging, skin elasticity, and hair & nail appearance, we need to maintain adequate nutrition.

Sadly, modern agriculture has led to severely decreased levels of key nutrients like Vitamin C being available in the soil...and ultimately available in our food.

Supplementing Vit C is great, but most common store-bought forms are not properly utilized by the body, and they pass right through our systems.

If you want superb bioavailability, Purality Health uses “liposomal” technology – which is a fancy way of saying your Vit C will actually be delivered to your bloodstream, and won't be a waste of money.
